What do family planning, biodiversity, water resources and community-based development programs have in common? They all raise questions we can answer.
For close to a decade, Population Action International has been documenting the links between population and natural resources, and PAI helped pioneer the concept of community-based population and environmental preservation programs. PAI’s innovative development approach pairs the delivery of family planning services with natural resource conservation techniques, such as sustainable agriculture, agro-forestry, and environmental education.
