Dear Mr. President

 

I would like to express a concern regarding to the funds, USD 34 million, that the US Congress has allocated to the UNFPA.  I want to express my opinion which is, that the funds should be immediately released to UNFPA. Around the world, UNFPA is doing every important work to improve the lives of people, especially women and children, in poor developing countries. UNFPA is a key player, linking governments and NGO`s in their work to create a world, where people`s human rights, including the right to life and health care are respected. UNFPA promotes voluntary family planning together with HIV prevention, by providing information and reproductive health services for people to enable them to protect themselves. These are important elements in peoples social well-being, stability of societies and thus a part of the fight against terrorism.
